Gulf Coastal Environmental Justice Community Ambassadors


Ambassadors

The Gulf of Mexico Alliance held a joint conference with the Hypoxia Task Force, August 2011 in New Orleans, LA. Community Gulf Ambassadors joined the Alliance in 2010, charged with promoting an exchange of information between underserved and underrepresented communities and the Gulf of Mexico Alliance. The Ambassadors joined the Alliance conference in 2011 to continue their collaboration. Members were identified as environmental justice leaders in their communities.
